Fishing is an important part of life in Hawaii, and a talented po'e lawai'a (fisherman) uses great skill and patience to catch fish. Join us to practice the art of throw net fishing with our very own local expert who has over 20 years of experience as a fisherman. Not only will you walk away with a new skill, but you will leave with a deeper understanding of upena poepoe (the “cast net”) and a greater appreciation for ocean resources.
